This is the second part of what to pack for Paris. The goal is to have a wardrobe that will read understated elegance, not touristy. Chic Parisians wear mostly neutral colors – black, navy tan, very few (if any) prints -leopard print is always chic- discreet makeup and a good attitude. As I mentioned in this post, the fit is something that Parisians have mastered, not too loose, never tight. Take inspiration from any of these outfits and you will be perfectly comfortable, appropriate and chic. I made a visual recap at the end so you have something to reference back to.
Denim jacket, Classic denim jacket, Navy dress
The makeup
The makeup should be subtle: soft skin, bronzed cheeks, red lip. The look can be easily achieved with a good, travel friendly, CC cream, bronzer and a lip stain , that will last you through cafe cremes and baguettes.
Bags
A cross-body bag or backpack that will help you be hands free while looking stylish.
Longchamp red ‘Le Pliage’ Backpack,
Chloe Small Faye Suede & Leather Backpack
Chloe ‘Mini Marcie’ Leather Crossbody Bag
Marc Jacobs Trooper Nomad Nylon Saddle Bag
