French inspired pink Valentine

I like to go for the unexpected, so for a Valentine party decor I am going to choose pink. Pink and gold. The right shades can be quite glamorous, you know. I have my inspiration board ready and in the following days I’ll try and come up with some outfit ideas- definitely not red.

Right? i think it’s more sophisticated, non ?
I used to feel the same thing about red. It is tricky, it takes time but it can be done- you have to find the right shade for your complexion.
Like DianaVreeland said : “All my life I’ve pursued the perfect red. I can never get painters to mix it for me. It’s exactly as if I’d said, ‘I want rococo with a spot of Gothic in it and a bit of Buddhist temple’—they have no idea what I’m talking about. About the best red is to copy the color of a child’s cap in any Renaissance portrait.” xoxo
